Songthaew

Songthaew in Chiang Mai is very common; many people use it for transportation even Chiang Mai official launched buses but not so popular. Short distance using songthaew is 15 baht.

Tuk-Tuk

Tuk-Tuk in Chiang Mai you can get it very easy around tourist area or hotel the cost more expensive than Songthaew but Tuk-Tuk you travel by yourself not mix-up with other passengers.

Walking

Walking is a good way to exercise and can explore the place during activity, Chiangmai is very cultured and interesting place if you can walk you will get good experiences with good feedback from local people.

Bycycles

If you are bicycle lover and love to ride a bike, Chiangmai has many places that you can rent from but the road here not provide bicycle’s lane yet.

Rickshaw

Chiang Mai residents in the past travel by Rickshaw but nowadays very hard to see it but still has some. It is a good idea if you visit Chiangmai and take a chance to travel by rickshaw, you will not regret!

Motorcycle in Chiang Mai you can rent very easy with 100 baht and above per day but you need to drive very careful in this city because people seem very crazy while they driving.

Taxi in Chiang Mai it is similar to Bangkok, price starts from 35 baht but taxi in Chiangmai not too many as Bangkok, most of the time you will see taxi stands at the airport.

Minibus

Minibuses is very good condition with air-condition but seem not many people use it and only 10 baht!

Car

If you want to drive yourself in Chiang Mai, provinces nearby and around Thailand, you can rent a car from both travel agencies and car rental companies, very easy to find them in tourist area.
