Thai Fried Insects

Thai Fried Insects

Fried Insects very common in Thailand, people still eat that either for snack or main course.  You always see a lot at fair or local market…You want to try ones?

Eating insects is common in much of Asia.  Thai rural communities like many in Asia and South America know that eating insects provide a valuable source of protein, minerals and vitamins as well as a tasty snack.

The insects are fried to make crunchy snacks, that go so well with a cold beer.  Try some, either just for the experience or to be remembered for your next party.

Bamboo worms are the caterpillars of a moth.  They spend this whole stage of their life inside the stems of bamboo plants.  They are regarded as a delicacy by the hill tribe people.

The favorite insects are Bamboo worms, Crickets, Giant Water Beetles, Silkworm Pupae, Mole Crickets, Grasshoppers and Bee Maggots.
